Why are styles nested in styles css, but not in the regular CSS files we worked with before?

I'm just wondering why all of a sudden, indented styles are showing up in the CSS style sheet, but I don't remember styles appearing like that before in the recent units?

You're in the "Nested Selectors" unit of the course, so this concept is being introduced for the first time. Also, nesting of selectors is a unique feature of SASS/SCSS and is not allowed in standard CSS.

Steven Parker Oh okay. I just thought the indents that appear in the style css, which I thought was the standard CSS, was kind of weird?
