Why are we concatenating strings instead of using, e.g. appendChild?

JavaScript allows us to createElement(), appendChild(), and classList.add(). Any reason we're not using those instead of text concatenation in this video?

This is just based on my opinion, so just go easy on me Building the element from string seems much easier (to read) than building an empty element and attaching properties and attributes

Thanks - now I'm seeing this a lot across videos. Just seemed less programmery to me :)
