Why are you charging money for study. Some people dont have enough resources to study so make it free.

I believe there are enough free resources on the internet to become genius in any area of the knowledge. And you can use it and learn from it. On the other hand, you have online schools like treehouse and you can (if you want to watch good content, save your time and learn from great teachers) pay for this content and use it. Someone built it, someone hired these teachers, and that one needs to be "rewarded". Treehouse has a big discount for all students. But I believe it is not about money but about pov. People tend to spend money on everything but education. It is perfectly fine to spend few hundreds bucks on weekend, but to pay yearly subscription here. IMHO

As amazing as free memberships for everyone would be, everything costs money. Like the servers that run the treehouse website, not to mention Treehouse has to hire professional developers as instructors so they can be able to teach us the proper practices of coding. Most of those instructors had jobs they left or are working extra hours to help out treehouse im sure, alot of them have families and of course themselves they have to be able to feed. So free is kind of out of the question.

But they do have pretty great discounts for those members who are students, you should contact the support team and ask them about that. I am sure they will work with you to find something that works.

Also there are plenty of websites out there that have free tutorials, some of which may be slightly out of date. There are also tutorials around YouTube that are always being uploaded by peers like you or sometimes even instructors from school. But again, with "Free" you can't be too picky with what you get. Treehouse is providing great teachings for the cost.

As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for".
