Why can't I find a course on React unit testing, however, there is a course for "intro into gender and sexuality"???????

Honestly, I don't know what's going on here. I thought I signed up to a coding tutorial website, not a TED talk. I just want to prefix by saving that I haven't looked at the course, and I don't know what the content or relevance is - however, I'm gonna put my hand up, and say that its probably a good thing. Having said that, the main objective of this website, that we all pay a subscription to - is to teach us hard skills in the form of software development. Not "How not to judge other people, and be an a**hole".

It's mental! I've been using Treehouse since 2015 - It was my entry point into becoming a software developer, and without it, I wouldn't be where I am today. I would always point people to Treehouse if they were looking for a good online resource. I can't say I would do the same today. I would refer you to Brad Traversy or Net Ninja etc.

For the most part, it does the what it says on the tin - you'll learn software development. However, I feel like there is a lot of content missing. Plus, some of the examples that teachers use to teach concepts to students are so convoluted, and overly complex - There are dudes on YouTube that are making the exact same content, with better, more concise lessons.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk - that'll be $25 please :)

Hi Kristian! Here at Treehouse, we have instructors dedicated to a wide variety of content based on their specialties. We will pass along your message about React content to our education team. As far as our Intro to Gender & Sexuality course, this is another side of tech we encourage users to educate themselves. As the tech industry is striving to be more inclusive - we want everyone to be part of that. Thank you for your feedback and for being a student at Treehouse!

I can appreciate that. However, If Bob walks into McDonald's, looking to purchase a burger, and ends up walking out with a brand new bicycle pump, then Bob is gonna be scratching his head, and probably won't come back. He'll have to go to the guy across the street that owns the kiosk. Bob will buy a burger, and pick off, what he hopes are head hairs, and wolfs down the burger. 48 hours later, Bob is dead from food poisoning - see, Treehouse - you killed Bob.
