Why cant I make changes to the size of the workspace window?

Hi, I am trying to make the workspace window larger or maximize it but it wont let me, currently the window is really small and hard to see the text. Does anyone know a solution to this??

Dan Robson if the font is too small, you can increase it by hitting command key and the + (plus) key on a mac, or the control key and + (plus) key on a windows machine. Keep in mind you have to hit both keys at the same time.
