Why can't I see "Implementing Designs for iPhone" after finishing "Build a Self-Destructing Message iPhone App?"

The last video of the self-destructing message iPhone app prompts the user to go to the next stage of the project, which involves designing the app and improving the UX/UI. Why am I therefore not able to see the design portion of creating this app after completing the first part? Why do I have to go through the Core Data and Photo Browsing Apps before accessing the design project on the iOS track?

I am going to end up doing the design project anyways, it's just a shame that it won't count towards my current iOS track.

The tracks are organized in a specific learning order and the courses at each level are placed based on difficulty. However, you can always go to the library and take a course out of turn if you really need to. Not sure why you feel taking a course will not count towards your track. Implementing Designs is part of the track so if you take that course it will count towards the track.

I can take the course, but it won't count towards the track because I haven't finished all the previous courses. I receive the following message:

"This course is locked. To unlock this course, you must first complete the courses in the preceding tier. Alternatively, you may take this as a standalone course off-Track."

Levels are locked until you unlock a preceding level but that does not mean a course won't count towards the track if you take it out of turn.

Great! Thanks for your help!
