Why do Elements change different positions in different monitor sizes?

I'm new to coding so when I use the position property it looks great but I'm using two screens to code and I notice when I drag my window to the bigger monitor the elements on my code sheet gets the elements out of place. Do I need java script or what i'm confused why the elements positions change in different monitor screens.

because it's device responsive, your problem can be solved by using media queries in css. Which will help u get the desired position in different devices like laptop, tablet or smartphone

Thank you Manish Bhan. I'm ma check that out.
