why do i keep getting this error message

Finally, target the paragraph that is a descendant of the footer element. Add a color property and set the value to slategrey.

Hi Miriam

I can see in your index.html file that a word span is added with p element. you need to remove it then it will work.

Hi Miriam, There is a syntax error in your css code.

.main-content p {
  font-weight: bold;
{

so, put your curly braces correctly and recheck it.

.main-content p {
  font-weight: bold;
}

And one more thing as Jaspal Singh said you added a word span in index.html file.
