Why do my challenges have a communication problem?

In the Basic CSS Understaning values and units I am running into the problem of this error message for the challenges:

There was a communication problem.

If you continue experiencing problems, please contact support at help@teamtreehouse.com.

I haven't had this problem in the track before and I was wondering what I can do to fix it?

This appears to be a "General Communication Error" message. It makes no difference which course or challenge you are attempting to complete. I have received this error message several times this evening. It has more to do with your IP connectivity and the session communication of the OSI protocols stack. If the connection is lost the session 'resets' itself and you get this message. Weather here is causing my broadband to be intermittent but yours could be on the server end...meaning heavy traffic. There is really no way to isolate this type of issue without a protocol analyser one the wire at both ends of the connection. I hope that it calms down some as I really have been hampered with my study time this evening. I wish you the best of luck. I'm calling it a night and will start fresh in the morning.

I'm having the same problem. I doubt it's the weather.

Thank you for the clarification. I was unsure as to wheter it was my connectivity or not but it has been raining here for the past several days so that may be causing the problem.
