JavaScript React Basics (2018) Understanding State Remove Items From State

Why do we use the anonymous function for the removePlayer in Player?

Hi there,

I didn't follow Guil by using the anonymous function. Instead, I used "props.removePlayer(props.id)" directly in the Player. Then, I got an error message: "Render methods should be a pure function of props and state",

Why the "props.removePlayer" is not a pure function anymore?

I'm guessing you are calling the function in the jsx instead of referencing the function.

Blake Larson Thanks for answering my question!
