Why does he float the header to the left?

In another part of the CSS code, Nick adds 'float: left' to the header element.... Why?

He floats it to the left so it will show up on the page. Eventually at the end of the project with all the other styling in place, if you removed the float the h1 tag wouldn't show on the screen.

I'm sorry but i don't see any code where it says "float:left" , so can you be more specific ?
