Why does he say "How many of you have had your email and password linked? " then "I bet every single one of you nodded"

The answer to the question would be a number or maybe a raised hand, not a nod. I am very concerned and hurt by this question.

Why does it hurt you that he used the word ‘nod’? Also, he said ‘leaked’, not ‘linked’. He was just rhetorically asking how many viewers have had their password leaked. A nod from the viewer would be a sign of assent.
