why does I set the width "initial" in the media query can make the column responsive?

Block level elements are normally 100% width of the parent element. This makes them stack on top of each other and become fluid.

Yerui,

-INITIAL-simply reverts the element in question back to what it initially was further up the code. Hope this helps :-)
