Why does my autocomplete not drop down?

I'm attempting to complete the Android track and am on the OnClickListener Button section. When I attempt to follow along and type the following I do not get a drop down for the findViewByID and it turns red and is not recognized.

public class ApplicationTest extends ApplicationTestCase<Application> { public ApplicationTest() { super(Application.class); } //add our View variables and assign them the views from the layout file

TextView factLabel = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.tip);

I end up typing in findViewById manually, but again, the kit doesn't recognize it as anything of significance.
