Why does my console/terminal not print?

Hi there,

I have noticed that my terminal in the practice section does not respond to the code I write. This has, in fact, happened on 3 occasions.

I initially thought that there was a mistake with my code- but having copied your code verbatim I think it may be something to do with the program itself.
