Why does the green 'intercept' line and co-ordinates appear when I hover over objects/shapes?

Mine does not have the green line appear when I hover over the middle of shapes - is this a setting I can turn on? Have tried google but couldn't find an answer!

Thanks again!

Try going into View-> smart guides ON. If your smart guide is already have the blue tick next to it and you still have this problem, try untick the Snap to Grid option in View.
