JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Introducing JavaScript The Console Challenge

Why does the Preview for changes made to "The Console Challenge" do not show my (saved) changes?

I load the workspace in parallel with the tutorial, make changes to the script.js and save all files. When clicking the Preview icon, the pages which are loaded in the preview do not show the changes made to the script.js file.

Is there a problem about loading scripts which I can avoid?

Must I wait for some "latency" time until I click the Preview icon?

After clicking the preview icon, restart the page that opens.

I have the same problem. Whatever changes I make to the .js file, it's not appearing in the preview!! This is extremely frustrating. I'm using Firefox.

I had a similar problem. Turns out, I had AdBlock on. Oops. Hope this saves someone else the frustration!

I also had to disable AdBlock, and refresh the "previewed" window. Thanks for the comment. Cheers.

Try using the Menu option. File > Save All. I've seen this issue too. Not 100% why it's occurring. If I update the console code directly though and refresh the page, it seems to take my changes.
