31,479 PointsWhy does this SASS code not work on Treehouse when it does work on codepen.io?
On stage four of the "Advanced Nesting" stage of the SASS basics course, we are asked to "add an exception for <a> tags that are in the <div> with a class of .footer: those links should be purple. Use the post-selector ampersand to achieve this."
My solution works fine on codepen.io, but not on Treehouse. Am I doing something wrong? Or is Treehouse not evaluating my code correctly?

Courses Plus Student 16,968 PointsLooks like the challenge is asking for a bit more specificity:
/* Write your SCSS code below. */
p {
a {
color: red;
div.footer & {
color: purple;
}
}
> a {
color: blue;
&:hover {
opacity: 0.5;
}
}
}

31,479 PointsPerfect. Thank you for your help. Still, I wonder if Treehouse's SASS compiler is less forgiving than the one on codepen.io.
