Why does this test environment always consider my code as wrong when my code always functions as intended?

I always get "Bummer! Unexpected AST node type passed to processExpressionStatement method: VariableDeclaration".

The examples from the video do it the same way...

Hey Daniel,

The issue is that the challenge test is not expecting a variable (IE $hidden_li).

In this case, you should simply have:

$('li:hidden').show();
