Why does your grade build complete so much faster than mine?

I'm using a very powerful computer (Gaming desktop) for my development and I noticed it takes a long time to complete when building a project. are you just using movie magic, or is mine actually taking 8 times as long to load?

Also, what might be making it go slow and is there a way to fix this?

Hey Ben! There's some movie magic going on. Not sure how much time we cut, but if you check out the bottom left right after the project gets created (link) it looks like we cut out ~10 seconds for the build + however long it took to open Android Studio.
