why doesn't the section tag work when I put it between the header and footer like its asking?

It's asking me to put a section tag between the header and footer to section off a <h2> tag a <ul> tag a <p> tag

I think you may be confusing "head" and "header". Nothing should come before "head" except for the "doctype" and "html" tags. All page content must be placed inside the "body".

Also, this challenge only involves placing containers around existing elements. You won't need to create any new (empty) content elements.
