Why go so fast, explaining promises?

There is no doubt that Andrew is an exceptionally talented developer. I am a former teacher trying to learn complicated concepts and I wanted to share a bit of feedback. Please do not go so fast during a cast in which we are supposed to do work in a workspace as well as jump between the top of the workspace and the bottom in a single breath. That is very frustrating and brings into the experience a level of tension that no one needs while learning anything. It makes me feel like I should go someplace else for the explanation.

What do you mean? You can slow down the video. Or you should learn one thing fairly good before mowing into the more advanced one. If you mean that.

Just a moment of frustration.

The concept of a promise was not the problem. Its the refactoring of a JSON request using promises that could use a little more explanation of why each piece needs to be refactored. A six minute video took me over 30 minutes to finish after pausing and editing.
