Why HTML 5 is only for pro members ? Disappointed.

I am a Basic member and i could not find any tutorial for html 5 , not even an introduction. I am gutted . why it is only for pro members ? In the name of HTML 5 there is a game tutorial for basic member but if a person does not know the basic will it be possible for him to make a game ? Please make an introduction at least for html 5 for basic member because we are also paying money like pro member but yes our pocket are smaller then them. no offence !

Ya! Really Bad

Hi guys!

https://teamtreehouse.com/library/html

This course will introduce you to HTML, and it is for everyone. This HTML course includes HTML5, and Treehouse is not gating you from that course for being basic. The reason to why you might not have found anything is probably that you searched for HTML5 instead of just HTML.

Enjoy the course material, it is really great.

Hi stjarnan . One simple question i want to ask , what was the harm of writing " HTML 5" in any of these ( Introduction, Text, Link, List, Objects, Table, Forms) ? That means to get the content for HTML 5 i need to go through each and every step in-spite of knowing HTML ( Already know long back). If i am not gated then why couldn't the lovely tree-house(Yes ! i mean it coz i love its courses since 3 months) made a simple course on " Introduction to HTML 5" and kept the burden aside ? This is isn't rite mate..

HTML is HTML5, HTML5 is just the latest standard which introduced some new features. Most of those features will be discussed in the course I linked to you. Imagine that you have a program or a game called "SoAwesome", a new patch is released and you go from version 2 to 3. Your game/program gets a couple of new features but is still called "SoAwesome", right?

The difference of the Pro membership workshops and courses is that they get really specific. This is probably why you managed to find the HTML5 name used in the descriptions, as they specifically go into detail on some feature that is part of HTML5.

Just read that you knew HTML, then here's a summary of what's new in HTML5:

Thanks alot for replying so fast. I am enthralled by the speed of response. You make sense indeed. But still does not fully satisfy my urge of creating a stand alone course for " #### 5" However,I read your link which is crisp and concise. Although, I have got something else for you as well: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/HTML/HTML5

Goodbye mate!

I am afraid no. From all the 10 sections(Beginning till Debugging) i dont see it at all. Possibly, because it is not written on the title probably, no mention of the word " HTML 5 " . It was rather really easy to write isn't ? to make basic members life a bit easier however , you should check these contents PRO-->https://teamtreehouse.com/library/prototyping-with-foundation-for-apps It is clearly mention that it has a content of HTML 5

Moreover, On https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Guide/HTML/HTML5 I have found much powerful reference to the HTML 5. Wished if tree-house could make a fabulous course by using these content like other courses.
