why i am getting an error to execute this code?

question is ,Declare a String variable named intAsString. Convert the randomNumber integer to a String value and store it in the intAsString variable. Hint: "Moosh" them together like in the video!

Random randomGenerator = new Random(); int randomNumber = randomGenerator.nextInt(10); intAsString = randomNumber + ""; plz help!!

Did you declare the type of intAsString?

public String intAsString;
// rest of your code

yes, i am trying this also and show error like..... JavaTester.java:47: error: illegal start of expression public String intAsString; ^ 1 error
