Tuan, Google Docs and newer words of MS office have the auto-save function created for the same purpose that you speak of - It's very possible that you forget to press 'Save' before closing the window, and everything you did would be deleted.

However, in this too, the RAM is utilized as everything that is every stored in the ROM of your computer has to go through the RAM.
