Why is Build a Simple Ruby on Rails Application before Ruby Foundations in Become a Web Developer Learning adventure?

I would think Ruby foundations should be before so we actually know how the loops and such work. Idk if this is an error or if it was intended this way. I'd be curious to here what others have to say

I like the project based approach first before learning the foundation. Also supplementing what James have shared in the other thread real good stuff!
