why is my code not working?

I thought this was straight forward. What am I missing?

app.js
var section = document.querySelector('section');
var paragraphs = section.children;

function changeColor (paragraphs){

  for (let i = 0; i< paragraphs.length; i++){
paragraphs[i].styles.color = 'blue';

  }

}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

        <title>Child Traversal</title>
    </head>
    <body>
        <section>
            <p>This is the first paragraph</p>
            <p>This is a slightly longer, second paragraph</p>
            <p>Shorter, last paragraph</p>
        </section>
        <footer>

        </footer>

Some hints:

  • You just need the loop - no function necessary
  • Use style instead of styles
