Hi christiaan white, just to note, when you paste code in the forum, you can get syntax highlighting and code styling by wrapping the code in triple backticks and including the language the code is written it.

gallery li color is missing a semi-colon at the end

thank you, I'll keep looking through it for mistakes like that

after combing over it, I realized that I was missing a bracket.
