Why is My Photo an Oval?

Hi,

I have this code for my personal photo:

.profile-photo { display: block; max-width: 150px; margin: 0 auto 30px; border-radius: 100%; }

so why is my photo a tall oval? I want a perfect circle....

thanks

Because the Height & Width are not the same. If you want a perfect circle the height and width need to be the same.

/* perfect cirlce */
.profile-photo{
   height: 200px;
   width: 200px;
   border-radius: 100%;
   background: red;
}

thank you..
