JavaScript Object-Oriented JavaScript (2015) Constructor Functions and Prototypes Adding a Prototype

Why is my prototype not allowing me to create a method?

I'm receiving an error, stating that 'Monster.prototype.takeDamage is not a function', but the W3c documentation allows me to create a function. Can someone help me figure out what I am doing wrong?

monster.js
function Monster(name) {
  this.name = name;
  this.health = 100;
}

Monster.prototype.takeDamge = function() {
  return this.health--;
}

Hey there,

You misspelled takeDamage (yours is takeDamge - missing the a), also you need a ; after the } under return this.health--;

Hope this helps.

Good catch! Thanks for spotting that!
