why is this not the answer? task 1 passed the first part, but when i add the second answer of country = usa it says task 1 is no longer working.

33,990 PointsHi Ryan, I don't see you adding the country property to the code above, but looking at the title of your question, I would guess that you have not surrounded USA in quotes, like so:
newYork.country = "USA"; //place USA inside quotes
