Why isint .title span answer incorrect when responding to how to select span within the .title class?

Let's make the <span> element with the class "title" larger. Increase its font size to 26 pixels. i put: .title span but its still wrong! I still get an response that says make sure that you are selecting the correct .title class

Almost there, remove "span" after title in your css file. Also dont forget ; after you declare the font-size.

.title {
font-size: 26px;
}

Thanks Elijah, your code works but im not sure why the "span" had to be removed since that is the element that I wanted to select within the .title class
