why isn't my image uploading into the file tree of work spaces?

It's a jpeg. I'm trying to drag it from my downloads into the side bar and nothing is changing. It's an image i wanted to use instead of the one that was loaded into one of the lessons

Hi Brant,

You should be able to upload an image using your method (dragging the file into the sidebar). However, if that doesn't work, you can always select file > upload file.
