Why isn't this clone_spec.js test working?

No matter what I try, I get the error message “Bummer! We tried your spec with a version of clone.js that DOESN'T work correctly, expecting the test to fail. But it passed! Better try again!”

I looked through several of the prior help requests on this challenge, but none of the solutions anyone has suggested is working for me. Am I missing something really obvious?

var expect = require('chai').expect

    var clone = require('./clone.js')
    it('returns an object where all properties match', function () {

      // YOUR CODE HERE
      let obj = {
        name: 'Interrobang',
        type: 'cat'
      };
      expect(clone(obj)).to.deep.equal(obj);
      expect(clone(obj)).to.not.equal({ name: 'Interrobang', type: 'cat' });
      expect(clone(obj)).to.have.own.property('name');
      expect(clone(obj)).to.have.own.property('type');
      expect(clone(obj)).to.have.property('name', 'Interrobang');

    })
