why my code didn't work, it worked perfectly fine on python!!!

You need to remove the str. The two variables tree and house are already string. While your code works, it's not what the challenge is looking for.

tree = "Tree"
house = "house"
treehouse = tree + house 
treehouse  #<-- this can be removed
