16,113 PointsWhy not Console Foundations before Sass?
On the Web Design Course, Console Foundations isn't a prerequisite for Sass. Why not?

17,781 PointsAlthough I would be inclined to agree with having it first, there are ways to use Sass without the console through third-party apps like Scout. It is probably for this reason, and the fact that Hampton doesn't really get too involved in the console that they did this. Still, I would rather know the console than to use third party apps to do the same thing!

Guil Hernandez
Treehouse TeacherHi there,
It wasn't added to the track for the reasons mentioned above. We did, however, list the Getting Started with the Console stage as "Related Videos."
