Why did Pasan moved those functions to change the background color and the title font to the didReceiveMemoryWarning() method ? Have never seen he doing anything inside of a function if not on the viewDidLoad() method

71,830 Pointsdavid, he's not. If you look closely, you'll see that the function named configureView is below the didReceiveMemoryWarning function.
