why treehouse is so focused on Coda any reason for that i have not used spreadsheets ever, so what should i do?

As a Newbie in coding and i have not used anything like spreadsheets and all is the techdegree for me ? coz now it gets me worried

Why are you worried? Just go through the video and learn how the tool works along with reasons to use it. They are focused on Coda because that's the point of the workshop and they also want to introduce you to tools that you can use to help make your life easier when it comes to learning code. While Coda is a team document tool, it has many other functions, including being a planner/tracker which is helpful for setting work/learning goals.
