Why use "QuizUI" instead of "this" in guessHandler?

The last statement of function guessHandler in quiz_ui.js is QuizUI.displayNext(); I replaced QuizUI with "this" and it did not work. Can anyone explain it to me why cannot be "this"? Thanks!

Hi Victoria

This page explains it quite well. http://www.quirksmode.org/js/this.html

In the video the QuizUI.displayNext() is located in an onclick event handler.

Hope this sheds some light on your question.
