Why will the JQuery basics course be retired?

There is a message on the Jquery basics course saying that the course will be retired on april 6th. https://teamtreehouse.com/library/jquery-basics

Does anyone knows why?

Maybe some refresh should be done as it's a bit old course

jquery 3.2 is out and I think it's been a while since they updated it.
