Why won't my nav bar center?

i feel like its going straight over my head, i have looked at my code for 1 hour. please help!

Assuming your nav bar is in an unordered list <name of navbar div>, I am assuming it is nav nav { display: inline-block; list-style-type: none; }

i just figured it out Robert Clausen , i applied an id to the <ul> for nav bar not the image list. thanks for your help but!
