Why won't the css link to html?

Why won't the css link to html in Sublime? This my html code:<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/main.css"> The css is in a file called css and named main.css

Any help would be great

Glad you got it working! Adding an answer so this doesn't show in the unanswered list...

My guess would have been checking the file was in the css sub-folder and/or checking for an error in your css file that prevented it from being applied.
