Wierd. Why wont this code run?

var html = " ";

for (var i = 1; i <= 10; i += 1) { html += "<div" + i + "</div>"; }

document.write(html);

I cant see what's wring with it!!

It does run, but you don't see anything because the starting "div" tags are not complete:

for (var i = 1; i <= 10; i += 1) { html += "<div" + i + "</div>"; }   // original
for (var i = 1; i <= 10; i += 1) { html += "<div>" + i + "</div>"; }  // fixed
