Python Dates and Times in Python (2014) Where on Earth do Timezones Make Sense? Actually, Use pytz Instead

Will pytz take into consideration of Daylight Savings time while giving localized datetime?

Kenneth mentioned the easiest way of dealing with localized time was to first use the UTC time and then to localize the time. My question is does the pytz factor in Daylight savings time when the localized time is computed?
