Will the jQuery Basics course be removed from the Front End Development Track?

I am in the process of completing the Front End Development Track. I skipped over jQuery Basics for awhile because I found it difficult to follow along and it was slowing my momentum. I returned to the course a few weeks ago to see that it was going to be retired, and so I completed the recommended jQuery intro course instead.

Does anyone know if they will remove the jQuery Basics course requirement from the Front End Dev track? And when/if they will replace the course with an updated one?
