Will the price of the tech degree program frontend development stay the same 99$?

How do I know that the price will not change. How many months do I have to pay, if I finish quicker can I pay fewer month or is there a minimum of six months.

It says that students pay for the Techdegree program on a monthly basis. The Techdegree program costs $99/month.

I contacted the treehouse support team, this is what they said:

"We currently are in the process of conducting A/B/C price testing for different variations of the Techdegree. So certain students are being randomly selected, and presented with these different prices. The $99 and $199 pricing tiers you are referring to are available to you if you would like. Below I'll give you a quick run down of what sort of access each tier provides:

  1. $99/month

    • Top-rated, guided curriculum -12 customizable projects to build a professional portfolio
    • Final proctored exam and certification

  2. $199/month

    • Top-rated, guided curriculum
    • 12 customizable projects to build a professional portfolio
    • Final proctored exam and certification -Exclusive Slack channel access
    • Project review for each of your 12 projects, completed by other Techdegree students

As you can see, pending which tier you choose, you would only have access to certain aspects of what you normally would with the full fledge Techdegree package. I hope the above information was helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions."

399+/month -Top-rated, guided curriculum -12 customizable projects to build a professional portfolio -Final proctored exam and certification -Exclusive Slack channel access -Professional project review for each of your 12 projects -2 one-on-one mentor sessions per month

The $199 and $399+ pricing tiers still operate with a 6 month minimum as far as the quickest the program can be completed. This is due to the only being able to submit your projects for review once every two weeks. The $99 program could potentially be completed in as little as 3 months.

$399/month for 2 mentor sessions a month? C'mon, Treehouse -- Udacity offers 1-on-1 coaching sessions in their $199/month plan. I was looking at returning to Treehouse as an alternative to Udacity.... but four hundred bucks a month might be too steep. Hint-hint ;)
