Will this iMac be powerful enough?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if this iMac http://www.apple.com/uk/imac/ would preform well enough to keep for years? I am currently learning a whole bunch and haven't decided if I want to go into Web Design or Developing Apps. I just want to buy something that will preform well and won't have to be replaced in the near future, will this iMac be powerful enough to keep all options available, or does it have limitations when doing certain tasks? Thanks in advance :)

As long as it has ssd and i5 or i7 with 16gb of dram it should be fine.
