Windows vs Mac

What works better when programming? I'm trying to build a social media platform but I get so many problem with my windows with the installation alone. I did research and they go back and forth with windows vs mac but more people are saying that macs run smoother. Is this true? or is windows just as equally operable as macs

I use mac as my computer for coding and other stuff, and it works just great. I would say you buy a mac, because the software is simple and nice, the support for coding is great and you can use it to program in Swift for iPhone to iPad. If you want to program in c# you will need to buy a windows machine to code an application, but you can program in c# on mac with a special app. hope I helped you and answered you're question.

yeah i got rid of my pc and bought an imac instead. good looking out for the help!
