Wordpress account issues

I already had a domain registered in namecheap so all I did was add it to my cpanel as an addon. when I was doinf=g the wordpress installment i gave it a username and password, but it does not automatically take me to an admin page. Was I suppose to create the username already in wordpress? and so how can I fix that.

Romina,

You can access the admin area via http://yourdomain/wp-admin. Try to login with the username and password you provided during the install of wordpress.

the link keeps saying This site can’t be reached
