Anyone know why this would happen? The localhost works, but admin area is blank all of the sudden..no login page.

im having the same problem. he begins the ACTIVATING A CUSTOM THEME video already in the admin section of wordpress... how the hell did he get there if we were working locally up to this point? we were just looking at the static html page, then he kicks off the next video already in the admin section. cant figure out how he got there.

First to answer john nichols question. Since we have WordPress installed, you can access the admin area by adding /wp-admin to the end of your url. You would access the admin area locally the same way you would with a WP site on a live server.
Deanna Morale there are a number of reasons that the WordPress admin area goes white. Start with this post for troubleshooting ideas: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-wordpress-white-screen-of-death/
You can also try temporarily deleting your theme folder from wp-content/themes and see if that solves it.
